Ive already reported these bugs several times. This post is just a warning to people so that they dont waste their hard earned gold on a completely broken set of runes.

Superior Runes of Lyssa are horrendously broken.

2 piece bonus > Flat out does not work and not increase condition duration
4 piece bonus > Gives boon duration of 7 sec. like the major runes not 10 sec.

This one is particularly lol
6 piece bonus > as of latest build ( 11/19 ), depending on the map and what ur doing the effect will not go off.

So if you are in Caledon forest and pop your elite skill while running forward the condition removal and boons will not trigger. Standing still or strafing will make it go off.

If you are in Metrica however, running forward while popping it will trigger, and will also trigger while standing still…. unless you are engaged in combat in which case it wont.

Im not kidding….. talk about an appropriate name considering what Lyssa represents.

Save your gold and dont waste it on this junk until anet fixes it, which will probably not be for a long long time considering how minor it is in the relative scheme of things.

The rune is pretty great though when it does work. :/

EDIT*** the 6th bonus has a 50 sec cooldown that is unlisted, my elite is on 48 sec CD so i guess i mustve just noticed this.

You should consider posting this in the Game Bugs forum, and writing an in-game bug report if you have not done so already.

Bugged content? This surprises…. No one!

Add it on to the list of things to fix and maybe it’ll be in by the next Halloween patch.

Yeah, the 50 second recast timer isn’t in the Rune’s description and it really should be there for (Elite slot) Signet Warriors and the (Elite slot) Venom Thieves. As a Thief with a 36 second recast Elite for my group / zerg skills, it stinks that I only get the proc every 2nd time since it’s not worth it to waste 14 seconds waiting for the Lyssa proc to refresh. However I do like having another condition removal source and the rest of the benefits mostly fit what I’m looking for, so I’m currently using the Lyssa as well.

Well I use a 90 second CD Elite most of the time and the effect doesn’t trigger quite often. I’d wager it fails to trigger about 20% of the time while other times it won’t trigger until the end of the Elite skill.

Yeah, it doesn’t trigger right away. I start and finsh my 2 second cast timer on Basilisk Venom. Due to my trait spec, I immediately get x2 Might stacks. Then around 1 second after the Might is applied, my Lyssa proc buffs are applied. If you’re looking for instant results, then the Lyssa proc isn’t what you’re looking for. My needs were for the condition removal and the various buffs to keep me from being interrupted while I petrify the named mob, which Lyssa can do.

some other runes are also bugged =/ Like the monk runes, they don’t always give aegis on elite usage. =/
