It was supposedly coming in this patch but looks like it may not be till the next one.

the updates to runes and sigils will be in the next feature&balance release, which should be late March.

It was supposed to be in this patch, but it obviously isn’t. Another disappointment.

I could bet the nerfs went in this patch though.

They never, ever said it would be a part of this patch. Late March or early April was the target, along with most of the other proposed skill and balance changes.

The live stream last Friday was discussing these as still wip changes. There was no way in hell those we’re going to be part of today’s update just 4 days later. I don’t know why so many thought those changes were coming today.

They didn’t give a clear explanation what would be in this patch, however dulfy presented some leaked patchnotes. I understand that gw2 doesn’t need to bring out all those updates because dulfy announced it, however it would be very welcome if they just falsified dulfy’s patchnotes.

Those were livestream notes that were wip as they mentioned, not patch notes….

You were not the only one – the price on runes / sigils spiked then flattened/retreated because many thought this was happening.
