The Hair change Preview made me realize that it would be a good idea to preview the name change contract so you can check if the name you want is available, and give you the option to buy it on the spot.

Could you try to add that name to your friends list to see if anything comes up?

Just type the name in the search bar of your friends list. If it pulls up an account, it’s taken. If it says no one by that name then it’s free to use.

There are already ways to check if a name is available (including, you know, just using the contract — if it accepts the name, great — if not, try something else).

I did not know that by checking the search for friend I could check for name availability BEFORE buying the name contract.
