So, I just spent 2 and a half hours or so jumping my way to the end of world 2 – 2 in Trib mode with 2 guildies, and we made it all the way to the last checkpoint, and my game crashed. “an unexpected error occured, would you like to send a report to ANET, blah blah”

I understand why you can’t join someone that’s already started working on trib mode because then people would just get run to the end, but if you’ve been working on trib mode for as long as it takes for most people to get through it, there needs to be some sort of contingency to get back in. I was like 15 jumps from the end, this is so rattling.

Yes please. My internet connection breaks for a few secs every so often. Sometimes I get a disconnect from the game. This makes it very complicated to do tribulation mode…

Please add a resume feature. The character could stand exactly where is was before the dc or at the lastest cloud or checkpoint.

just did the same thing too. Was trying to collect every bauble and kill every ninja in zone 2. almost done and Dc’d. kitten is getting old.

Rejoining is not possible with the current gw2 instance system without making tribulation mode selling possible. Just get good than you no longer need hours to finish a zone. You can probably do 2-2 in tribulation mode in 20min or less with practice

Also, they don’t have the ability to retain empty instances in memory at all anyways… which means no grace periods so even if they allowed rejoining, it wouldn’t help solo runners one bit.

Back in the old days, when you lost connection (or power), you had to start over.
