I just wanted to ask if anet ‘broke’ SAB mobs this year even more? Everything they do seems to push me back, regardless if I’m dodging or not. There also seems to be some sort of delay (might be my internet problem) that even if I do dodge, I get pushed back half a second later in a random direction.

I have experienced some weird push backs, but not to the degree you’re implying. I don’t know what it might be indicative of.

On Reddit people were speculating that a small, moving AoE field was added around mobs (though they don’t know why), and that the mapping is messed up (either its not centered on the mobs, especially when they move, or its much bigger than the actual mobs are, or both).

Mobs definitely has large hit boxes. You can hit them even if they are at higher floor than you or behind the thick wall.

But that knockback is super annoying, I tend to avoid World 2 Zone 2. It’s nothing but pitfalls and fast, knocking ninjas.

This is definitely worse than last year. I do tribulation daily and monkeys seem to always run INTO my character, even though they use ranged attacks. They just push me back, messing up my progress countless times. I hope this will be fixed next year, since it’s hardly fair, especially since you can’t dodge it. I tried.
