Is there anyway you can remove the mechanic where the checkpoint kills you when your playing with others in Super adventure box in tribulation mode. Its very annoying as you get all the way to the checkpoint only for it to kill you because your standing there waiting for your teamates. This makes it actually easier to run tribulation mode solo, which in turn discourages multiplayer for tribulation mode.

The way to handle it is to find a safe spot near the checkpoints, and not go on them till everyone is there. In my guild we assign a number from left to right so we always hit the keys in the same order.

It also helps if everyone is on voice, so you can say go and everyone goes at once, but that can be typed as well.

Personally, I find it funny. And yes, I’ve been killed by them. By the way, if you don’t have a full party, the unlit key(s) will not kill you. Just FYI. You can assign players their order, as mentioned above, wait on the unlit key, then get in place when all are there.

For full parties, as said above, just find a safe place to wait (there’s always someplace), then move on when you’re all ready.

It wouldn’t be trib if the save points didn’t try to kill you.

Trib in multiplayer requires some coordination. Usually, the safest place to stand is to plant your face on of the pipe organs. We’re talking about standing beyond the blinky blinky checkpoint buttons, not on the button itself.

There are some exceptions to it like Trib 2-3 (tribulation clouds and stupid icicles), which then is a mass rush to the checkpoint. Always pre-assign your checkpoint position.
