Guild Wars 2

Having lots of fun with WildStar at the moment.

How ever the only thing I look back fondly about in Guild Wars 2 was SAB. It is the true gem of this game.

In particular (although it was quite hard) I loved this level:

Why?

It was full of wonder and mystery even after the 100th run. There was always secrets to be found and challenges to over come. The lonely atmosphere of the ice level was quite daunting in a good way.

It actually felt like a world… not a boxed in rectangle instance. Which is the majority of Tyria.

If SAB is the most important thing in GW2 for you then I hate to say it, but this game isn’t for you. Perhaps search eBay and buy yourself and old NES and some games. SAB is fun and all but it isn’t really much of GW2 itself but a side game.

It’s not that SAB is the most important thing for me. It’s more it’s the best content Guild Wars 2 has ever had.

Again, perhaps you are playing the wrong game then. SAB is a modern version of old platform games. There are plenty of those still around. Don’t get me wrong, SAB is fun and all but I always viewed it as a side game to take a break from my normal GW2 play. If SAB is what it would take to get you to play again then I think GW2 as a whole is disappointing to you and that is fine. This game isn’t for everyone. Plus, I’m pretty sure SAB will come back at some point given the way it was set up last time.

Why that? SAB is GW2 in a nut shell just a lot more cartoon. Its like playing pve in a JP in a WvW setting you can even pvp in a JP setting.

More likely its just new content and the environment is very light is what your enjoying SAB is what GW2 plays like when your starting out in the game but at a much faster speed. The combat is the same the progression of new skill more horizontal progress then vertical and the aim to get skins and comply events and or find points of interested.
If say SAB was there forever it would get old fast and ppl would be screeching for a pvp version more so then they do now to give “new life to old boring content.”
