SPvP should give loot usable anywhere.
sPvP is a whole different animal. You shouldnt get PvE or wPvP gear just because you play a different “animal” all the time. Thats like saying “Oh, i play PvE a lot so I should earn free cool looking sPvP gear” :/

If I have to play for 100 hours to get something. Not letting you do it in the game style you enjoy is a big mistake.
You can earn PvE gear and take it to World PvP or the other way around. All the gear I use in World PvP came from PvE

At the very least it’d be nice to gain some XP for playing.

spvp need to get more interesting,and they need to come one with some bettter rewards than 4k points for One chest..it’s an absurd and insulting rewrad tbh,while the cheapest chest costs 200 and the most expensive cost 1000 points,then why in the hell..are we getting 1 chest as a reward for leveling up with 4000 points ? Shouldn’t that equal to atleast 4 boxes ? The 1 Box reward is just terrible,is anyone here actually Happy when you leveled up the next rank and get another…chest ? is there anything at all besides playing a few rounds for fun that would make you keep playing spvp over and over and over as it is now..? increasing/changing the rewards would help with this,make it interesting,im not asking for a kitten legendary or anything.
Some of the loot you get in spvp is useable outside of spvp, such as bags. And with paid tpvp you get gems. Also finisher abilities can be used in wvw.

That fine it doesn’t means it’s not a mistake and something that they can’t fix. In MMOs people like to earn new gear they can use anywhere.
They is no reason not to allow saying one of the most popular ways is grinding Orr. Right now I earn loot buy spamming 2 AoE spells with my eng all day long. If this gives end game rewards. there is no reason not to open it up.

I don’t want better loot or anything like that. But if I spend 100 hours in hour. I should be able to get around the same spending 100 hours is Spvp. Players tend to go to the path that is easiet to get loot, Right now it’s Orr and they are getting bored.

MMO games are farming, grinding the same things daily. If you do 100 hours of SPvP you do 100 hours of pvp because you like it not because you’re bored of farming orr. You should not get rewarded in PVE because you play PVP they are two completly differnet aspects of the game and if they did it so you could get rewarded from spvp in pve, then they’d also have to reward pvp rewards from pve. If you want pve rewards and don’t want to farm orr then find other ways of farming, maybe they wont be as effective, but atleast they’d be abit more fun.

A) farm Orr which takes no skill at all
or
b) just fork over cash to buy gems which is even easier.

It doesn’t even have to be PvE gear, You don’t get gear in SPvP you can take outside. If it’s PvP gear that is even better cause i just want it to do WvW anyways
There gear is basically the same anyways except some stats are moved around to toughness which you can fix buy spending you points and gems differently to reorganize your stat distributions

If you do only PvP you don’t get to look good in PvE, as simple as that. If you didn’t explore any dungeons, you didn’t level your crafting, you never ran events, and you never ran reknown hearts, then I’m sorry but you don’t deserve to look good in PvE.
WvW is another thing though. I think you should be able to export your gear from either sPvP or PvE, however Arenanet needs to consider that PvE players won’t always have level 80 items so that could be problematic for balance.

hundreds of hours of pve? Seriously? One week to get 80, buy full exotics from TP for 15-20g… that’s hardly hundres of hours and that’s just the easy way. Go lvl crafting upto 400, farm Exp dungeons to get the exotic gear (you can even lvl up from this) Farm DE’s (no this doesn’t mean Orr only as you seem to think the only PvE side of this game is to “farm orr” which “takes no skill at all” to get enough karma to get the Orr exotic gear. It really isn’t that hard to gear for WvW aslong as you’re lvl 80.
You said if farming orr and gems is a suitable way to get gear why isn’t spvp? beucase to farm orr you have to be lvl 80… you have to farm DE’s, to get other gear like AC,CM,TA ect you have to farm 1500+ exp tokens to get that full looks.. Now if you could simply farm Spvp abit, get the same gear as someone who’s farmed a certain dungeon for days then they might aswell remove any contents rewards. In pve you have to work for the nice looking gear like i said by farming dungeons or crafting

They are no rewards for Spvp, The stats are all the same.
If I grind anything else. I Increase my power ever where in the game accept Spvp but we are always on equal footing so that doesn’t matter gear wise because everyone uses the same stats.

For Spvp to be good gear shouldn’t count for nothing which is why our rewards can’t make us more powerful there. But like every other play style it should help with other things but it does not.
That’s because Spvp and the rest of the game are completely different… In pve all lvl 80 exotics have max stats, only difference is you can choose which 3 stats you want so like Spvp gear isn’t really a massive deal. Yes you are rewarded in spvp, you get new skins. If you ran around in the starting armor in Spvp for the rest of your GW2 life i’m pretty sure you’d moan about that.
So basically.. what you’re saying is, you want to get the best gear in PVE without ever having to do PVE.. well sorry but that’s never going to happen, just like you can’t get Spvp items without ever doing Spvp. You can’t here in GW2 and i’ve never known any other MMO to let you do this either. As i’ve already said it costs 15-20g which really isn’t alot for full exotic gear now surely you can manage that?

Said we should get rewards useable anywhere if thats PvP gear that is fine. I’m still going to be stronger in any part of the game because of it, Even if it’s not the best for PvE or dogouns just like any other play style can farm there stuff and take it somewhere else.
It’s not the best but it better then nothing.
Right now we get nothing to help us once we leave EVERYONE else does.
Both gold and karma can get you legendary.
You use gold at the MF you use karam at the vendor
Glory……..Well that gets you nothing.

Can you take your Instance gear to PVE, WPvP, YES
Can you take your PvE gear to WPvP, Instance YES
Can you take your WPvP gear to Instance or PVE YES.
In ALL 3 of these cases you are stronger in any aspect because of it. They only style that doesn’t get to do this is Spvp.
And yes you should be able to bring your skins from other modes into SPvP. One of my favorite skins is a PvE one and I hate that I don’t get to where it in SPvP because it’s not available there

You did work for them you got them from other style, SPvP is about kick the crap out of your enemies and standing over there dead bodies.

But if Grind sPvP and come you your play style, You are way more powerful them me,
If you grind your style and come to my style we are the same.
And you can’t get the feathered crafting gear in PvP so there are not all there

Or it could be based off glory level as well, So you have to be level 80 glory to buy items of level 80
They should make it so you have a chance to salvage a skin from your spvp gear to be used outside the mists; or maybe a rare chance to get an appropriate rank item skin instead of the pvp armor from pvp chests. Atm some gear looks are just unobtainable outside of spvp and would be a good way to alleviate that.

You mean something like a Mist transmutaion stone? That they can sell on the BLTC for Gems.
PVX is PVX = WvW, PvE and Dungeons..
SPvP and TPvP is the same.
Why should someone in SPvP, that rather do SPvP get PVX gear? It’s stupid. Is it to much for you to level in PVX? Is it boring? Then dont and go back to SPvP.

They do let you play the style you like, the problem is you limiting yourself to one side of the game but wanting to reap the rewards in all facets of the game. You ONLY have a point about WvW, which I see kind of like an hybrid and you should be able to showcase some PvP gear there.
In both PvP and PvE, this game’s reward system is based on looks. Your gear’s appearance is the only reward you get and it speaks of your achievements, so it would defeat the whole point of the reward system if PvP allowed you to bypass the condition for wearing prestigious gear in PvE, and ditto for PvE dungeon crawlers looking prestigious the second they put their feet in sPvP. (At least in theory, dungeon gear looks bad in my opinion and I would transmute that asap)
Just a note, in case people missed this part of the game.
Glory lets you shop at glory vendors.
Shopping at glory vendors gives you gear that you use a pvp-salvage kit on to get pvp-specific crafting mats.
Take those crafting mats, toss em into the special PvP-Mystic Forge, and you’ll get nifty new skins.
The quality of those skins depends on the level of mats, which depends on which rank vendor you purchased from.
I don’t know if its possible to get a pvp-legendary skin.
