Guild Wars 2

Hello,

I’ve been playing quite some time and although the game is awesome there are still a few guildrelated things I hear from allot of guildies they are missing.
I hope this is in the right forum, I did not find a suggestions forum…

First of all:
- A message entire guild function
Explanation: For guildleaders or officers it is quite difficult to message all their guildies for guild events without their essages being suppressed by the mailing system. One could say use the guildchat but experience in several games shows that a direct approach when speaking to members is far more effective.

- Guild Hall: More decorations possible in one spot
Explanation: I’ve spoken to several guilds with guild halls, almost all of them found they were hindered in their plans for the guild hall by the maximum number of decorations in an area. An example that comes to mind is a guildleader who told me he wanted to create a small maze he handdrawed for his guildies to have fun with. Yet he couldn’t build it because there were ‘too many decorations in one area’.
If this number could be highered I think allot less people will be hindered by the system.

- Lost Precipice waters too dull
Explanation: The Lost precipice is a wonderfull guild hall, yet if you get in the water theres nothing but a few algae. Some fish NPC’s and maybe an small underwater cave could make all the difference and is not that big of an update.

- Bank / Black Lion Trader in Guild Hall
Explanation: The guild hall is an awesome place full of wonderfull stuff to do, the thing people keep asking me for though is ‘where is the bank?’ or ‘where is the black lion company?’ It would be awesome if they could be implemented in guild hall as well.

- More decorations:
Only human gods have their statues in the guild hall atm therefor:
– Eternal Alchemy Statue
– Norn god statues (wolf, raven, snow leopard, bear etc.)
A few things people asked me before:
– A fireplace (could be beautfull asset to the houses)
– Sandstone ramp (like the super ramp decoration)
– Sandstone wall (there’s only a golden wall atm)
– Sandstone plate (like the super plateau decoration)

If you guys know more stuff you have been missing (only serious things no trolling please) be sure to comment it.

I agree with most of these, especially decoration walls that match the Lost Precipice. But as a side note, you can get bank access in the guild hall at the Scribe crafting station. You do not need to be a Scribe or rep the guild to use it.

I am with you on the decoration limit. I saw the dev post why they do it. It just seems like way way to strict, unless it was for Arena Decorations only.

For a selling feature of HoT. Guild halls and scribing have been a big let down.

I have just started collecting the guilds unfinished projects as a testament of how ridiculous this limit is. We have yet to complete one.

I can understand limiting the arena for the sake of server stability. Not sure why a cosmetic feature has to suffer to much for ppl playing on potatoes or why they just cant add an option not to render decorations or have low res models.

I really like the Personal Housing that FFXIV has inside the Guild Homes there. You can just buy an instanced room there and you have your own space inside Guild Headquarters. I think that would be awesome!

Separate personal housing would be amazing but that’s not what this topic is about

My guildleader wanted to make a skyplatform with the super platforms to have extra room, he couldn’t because of the restrictions, I was gonna get a poh and garden there he said so I’m not happy they placed those restrictions they should make it possible to put more decorations. Like you said they can set them to lower resolution if it gives server problems no?

A little improvising and you can make player owned houses if the decoration limit is higher.

True but i understand Trexion if he means its not the same.
