Once I have obtained both Enchanted Treasure Map and Enchanted Key is it safe to get rid of them (i.e. sell/delete the map and sell/salvage/delete the key)? Or do I have to keep Enchanted Key to be able to open Enchanted Treasure Chest?

The map is only used the one time to get the key. The key is not actually a key, despite its name. It’s just one of the items in that collection. Like any of the items in a collection, getting it fills its spot in the collection box. After that it can be sold/equipped/salvaged/whatever.

So, you don’t need it to open the chest later.

I gave the key to a lesser alt. it’s an exotic accessory. saved me like 1g I would of had to spend.
