Is there a way to get more out of what you salvage? Besides using a Black Lion Salvage Kit?

I have a couple questions that I will list below that hopefully people can answer

1. Does Magic Find have any effect on the amount of supplies you are returned from salvaging?

2. Does the WvW “Artisan” bonus give you a bonus to salvaging with a result of possibly more crafting materials? If so, does the Crafting Booster (50%) give you a better chance for more mats?

From the wiki;

Magic find is an attribute that increases a player’s chance to receive uncommon loot from dead foes. Magic find is applied when a foe dies; it does not apply to loot from chests, items created in the Mystic Forge, or random drops from gathering.

While it doesnt state it specifically, it doesnt affect salvage either. MF only affects drop rolls from creature deaths.

The mystic salvage kit gives you a better chance of returning rares that most other salvage kit. It still needs 3 mystic stones from the shop, but you get 250 uses out of it, so it’s much more affordable, even if you’re changing gold to gems.

You need a green, blue and yellow salvage kit and 3 mystic forgestones to make one in the mystic forge.

It actually ends up being cheaper than regular salvage kits even.
