Scared of swords?

he looks like he’s gonna throw it

yeah, its ALOT worse for asura
He’s just trying to make it look bigger. Poor Asura.
They are just checking for blood stains, scratches and the like.
so apparently characters in this game, are either afraid of their swords, or have never seen a sword in their entire life, these people hold the sword by the pommel, WHY!? its nearly impossible to find a good sword that doesn’t suffer from this, any idea why its like this?
I practically scream at the way many carry a GS when not actively using it. They look like they are pulling along something that is way too heavy to fully lift off the ground.

Kudos to you if you like that look.
However, to me it looks incorrect. A sword with that big a grip that can be wielded in one hand is a hand-and-a-half sword, the other name for which would likely be converted to kitten sword on this board. Balance points on such are typically such that, while using it in one hand, holding it closer to the hilt than your picture shows would be much better for handling.
A small matter perhaps, but it irks me. I also tsk when I see art online which shows someone using a bow with the arrow on the wrong side. Often, the art is quite well done except for a failure to do research by someone who apparently never used a bow. Same with some swords in GW2.
