Is there a workaround for Scout Acan not talking to me? This entire process is frustrating enough and then I encounter something like this. How do I get him to talk to me after i glide over to him and my quest says to talk to him.

Did it, spam clicked in frustration trying to destroy him pixel by pixel, when all of a sudden he talked to me. So spam clicking possible workaround?

One of my guildmates said last night that, for him, he switched to another character and switched back to his first character and he was able to speak with Scout Acan.
