Guild Wars 2

Apparently I reached some limit on my screenshots.

I read there was a limit on about 1000 screenshots, but I haven’t even reached that many.

So I went to documents > guild wars 2 > screens where they are all stored, and moved them to another renamed folder.

But it keeps saying the guild wars 2 screenshot folder is full. What do I do?

Try deleting the folder (after you have moved your pictures out). When you take another screenshot, it will recreate the folder and you’ll be able to start filling it up again.

At least, that’s what I got from a quick google search. Seems to be a common problem with GW2.

I renamed my first folder into screenshots 1 – that was it. My game created a new folder named screenshots and is saving all new screenshots there.

Edit: And yes, 1000 is the maximum number – maybe you stored other files in that order or deleted some which are now being replaced..

I’ve tried all that, renaming and moved the folder somewhere else, even deleting the guild wars 2 screens folder, but it won’t recreate itself, and the message about full folder is still there.

Are you using Windows 10. Try running GW2 in administrator mode and take a screen shot.
