Because Anet can’t give us a preview of these snazzy new colors.
But it’s a bit of a waste of money IMHO.

I had a kit already sitting around and I was really disappointed. I misread and thought it was new hair styles.

My permanent hair style kit is even more awesome now

Honestly, all they would need to do is give some norn hairstyles to humans, and I would be more than happy.

Actually like the new colors. Glad to see the hot colors make a comeback from GW1. Helps flesh out those Elementalists a little more now.

Definitely going to get a kit now to change my Elementalist’s eyes and hair to the blues. Thanks for the previews.

I dont know what it is, but a lot of MMO’s have a ton of issues making new armor (NOT weapons), hairstyles and other character based looks besides color. I hate MMOs that have impression people just want more color and cooler weapons. I want cooler LOOKS and ARMOR.

That is why I really loved GW1 because there was so much armor and it wasnt easy to get either, you had a couple sets of 15K armor and ecto armor and whatnot. And well, there was also a lot of cool hard to get weapons like Crystalline Sword and Celestial Sword.

I was gonna buy a kit just to test the new colors out, OP, thank you, now I wont have to waste the gems for it.

Wow that last eye color says “Bright Blue” but looks straight black. Weird.

Thanks! Honestly it’s probably nice for most of the races if they wanted some of these less natural colors, but for Sylvari, you can already have blue, purple, green and pink hair, and these shades don’t seem to be much of an improvement.

I’ve been messing with them, love this update. Was the first thing I did upon logging in!

Thanks for taking the time to do this. Not particularly impressed with the colours though. Would also prefer new hairstyles.
