So before anyone starts, I already know that I need to get a life!!

But earlier, a couple of people and I noticed that the Gifts of Exploration are now part of crafting for Scribes at level 400. Does anyone have a clue roughly what a scribe can create with these?

I’m hoping it’s decorations, but with Pre-cursor crafting (which I haven’t looked into yet) I’m not so sure. I don’t really fancy making any more legendary weapons right now.

Maybe the new Legendary weapons will require scribe at 400 and a gift.

Used for navigation in Maguuma Wastes. Time limit 30 minutes.

Used to find four working events in a selected map, for daily. Consumed after use.

I hope its an awesome globe decoration.

Which opens up to reveal a minibar.

Flying Mounts and Guild Capes, probably.

Hmmmm. You get 2 gifts of exploration. Maybe there are recipes for right and left ears and you need one for each.

Tyrian Map tapestry perhaps? Who knows. I have a few gifts spare :P

If this turns out to be a map of Tyria tapestry, I will have to get a scribe up to 400 asap.

Obviously it makes this.

It’s a companion. Basically a mount/npc that you can level up. His attack is through singing this song over and over. It melts your mind. He is kind of like a Mesmer that way. When he is in mount mode you just hop on and click where you want to go on the map, such as a hero point in tangled depths. And he simply goes into auto pilot and takes you there.

A few said a map tapestry, good call. I was also thinking mebbe, like an order-based decoration? Like the Whispers spinning globe, or the Durmand floating tablets?

That would be awesome! I wonder if we will be able to donate gift of exploration to our scribes…

Could be what some have asked for, a way to get gift of exploration without having to take another character through the world again. As long as you have one gift of exploration, you can craft more.

I know, boring. I’m a realist. :P
