I have an idea for an item in game that would allow players to return to old zones, visit new zones, complete dungeons, complete fractals and to help out in WvW.
My idea is a task scroll that is dropped around the world from different content with different difficulty level attached depending on the content it was achieved from. On this scroll would be a list of tasks for the player to complete to open a chest with a mix of RNG but with a minimum reward attached depending on the difficulty of that task scroll.
Features the scroll could include:
Complete a level (?? depending on difficulty) + fractal
Complete path () of dungeon ()
Visit this area (Shown a sketchy image of an area and a loot chest)
Capture (WvW keep/tower) (??) Many times for your world
You would not see each stage until you have completed the previous stage and the length of the tasks in total would be dependent upon the difficulty of the tasks. This would also encourage players to play every aspect of the game and to improve there skills in for example fractals to be able to complete the scroll for there reward.
