IF it gets added it would have to be in an Elonian expansion as the only class that used it was the Dervish

Roll a Necromancer and use a Staff. Some Staffs are also shaped like Scythes.

It’s almost a certainty when elona and dervishes are added. I’m pretty confident dervishes will be added because they’re kind of a unique class in a field of archetypes and stereotypes, haven’t really seen anything else quite like it in any MMO.

Alongside the mesmer (Edit: and ritualist, but engineer adopted some of the ritualist mechanics) it was one of the more distinctive Guild Wars professions, and the main weapon of the dervish is a scythe.

WTB Dervish Class.

Agreed. I loved Dervish.

That being said, the Gargoyle Staff and Final Rest are shaped like a scythe and the Necromancer gets a shadowy scythe blade at the end of his staff while in combat.

Why can’t humans gain the blessing of the God of Gardening at creation?

When a Necro casts with a staff a black ethereal scythe blade appears over the staff. It also is ungodly loud as if to announce it’s presence.
