‘Full’ for the past 2 days. Its the server all my friends are on.

I bought the game 2 days ago and I kinda want to -you know – play it. I’ve reloaded the client more then 100 times and nothing has changed.

Start the game on an other server and transfer there when you see its not full. Usually late at night is your best chance(but as this is the aussie unnofficial server maybe not)

At the moment Sea of Sorrows is the number 1 server in NA WvW.

You’ll be hard pressed to get in.

Usually towards the end of every week like Thursday / Friday / Saturday, the population cap for all servers are adjusted to ‘High’.

Then, from Sunday onwards popular servers get filled up to ‘Full’ again.

Then, the cycle repeats…

We have a lot of flavour of the month players coming across due to our success in WvW.

Used to be every day, then it was changed to every week. Only reason we still have free transfers is cause they haven’t implemented Guesting yet. A feature that was supposed to be in at launch…

If you Americans would stop joining Sea of Sorrows, the server for us Aussies, we’d all appreciate it.

The solution is simple, if a bit drastic. All log into W3 and just sit in your keep … maybe have a party … just make sure you lose. Stay in this position until the bandwagonners have flocked off to a plump-looking new server.

I though it was because they were afraid of server imbalances and that new player might make the wrong choice of server and be stuck there. I don’t think guesting is such a massive technical challenge that it would take month and months to implement, but I will admit it has been going on suspiciously long.

Many people on Sea of Sorrows take WvW very seriously. This would never happen.

why not hold a cease-fire, instead? with no players fighting and having a “fun” time, bandwagoners would have to be pretty irritated at the lack of combat.

I had friends start recently and couldn’t get them on SoS (where I started), so I left.

We ended up on Emhry Bay. They’re a pretty fun crew in WvW. Last week or two was super easy, this week is kinda hard, but I’m learning more about defense, which is good.

Seems like a good bunch of folks. I do miss SoS from time to time, but it was more important for me to be where my friends were going to play, even though we only hook up a few times a week to play, generally.
