Guild Wars 2

Hey guys,

I’m a returning player and I missed a lot content of season 1 and season 2. I’m someone who loves to collect collectibles and stuff like that. So I was wondering, is GW2 still fun after missing so many content.
I also understood that each release had its own part of a story. So isn’t it confusing for me as a player to jump back in the game with missing so many story parts?

Yes it’s a better game go log in and see.

Story parts are cheap, imo (about 200 gems, if I’m not wrong).
EDIT: also, they’re free if you just log in during the time they are released (within 2 weeks, I think)

I’m a GW2 player for a year now and I always have something to do, so I guess classifying the game as boring or fun is more on a personal level. I’ve seen people who didn’t see the potential in the game and quit it in a month.

The game is still different from the traditional MMO’s in some aspects, just like before. Depending on when you quit playing, some content changed, some didn’t. A lot of the class mechanics changed recently, a lot of content was added etc.

@MasterKitty, so now it’s possible to do parts of Season 2 even if you missed them?

It’s possible to do all of S2. There are four episodes so far. Each one is 200 gems if you missed it. Free if you logged in when it was still new.

They have mentioned that they are looking into adding S1 into the new format. Just don’t expect it soon (or ever tbh).

You can also have somebody “taxi” you into the living story instances. No rewards for completing them though.
