anyone got any tips as i cant complete season 3, “the bitter cold” i ran out of time to complete this part due to not being able to complete it. ive never taken to h.o.t let alone season 3. unlike some people that have hours to spend doing this i dont and have learning difficulties some tips are much appreciated. To me theyve made this far to hard and may as well go grind in wow, which is as much as i am enjoying season 3

I would be happy to help out with The Bitter Cold story part if you would like. I am not sure I will be on today but definitely tomorrow if you are around.

The trick is to lure the boss close to the larva and then kill the larva when the boss is beside it. When the larva dies, it will do a lot of damage to the boss. Once you kill one group of larva, lure the boss to the next group of larva.

Hmmm… If you’ve gotten the point of interest in the frozen area from the lava vault then you just need to make the potion and go back there. From that ledge look for ledge with a marker, (like the one used in the forest to reveal chest and ore under waterfall). Glide to that ledge activate the glyph. It will melt the opening to get to the last part. To kill the baddie inside for the story kill the grubs next to it and their poison will kill it. Good luck

i understand what i have to do, not sure if it’s because i am a casual player and dont have hours to waste on these types of bosses. I take him into the larva and try to kill as quick as i can but cant get it. If its gear dependent then i aint going to cut it as i am on exotics. maybe i aint good enough as a player skill lvl. But i do feel i should be rewarded for trying. some kind of reduction skill lvl as you just keep failing or something… i dont know

I did this in exotics so no it’s not gear dependent. You need to kill the grubs when the boss is by them otherwise their AOE won’t damage the boss. You don’t have to fight the boss at all just kite him around to the grubs. It may take a few tries but it’s very possible. Good luck.
