ArenaNet’s got Phinneyridge and Greenlake in there. Any other WA references they threw in?

Kind of fun since I live there.

Didn’t know there was a Phinneyridge in Seattle, i thought it was a place dedicated to a former ArenaNet employee!

More violence, less violets.

There’s an Astoria in GW2. There’s a neat little town in OR called Astoria not too far from Seattle, WA

There is a point of interest in the far NE corner of the black citadel called the “12th Iron Maniple”. If you look at the map, the area looks suspiciously like a football. In Seattle, we refer to the Seahawks fans as the “12th man”. I’m fairly certain this is a reference.

Seahawks actually license that trademark from Texas A&M and the term goes back even farther. It is not necessarily a Seattle thing but a football thing. But it may still be in the game because of the Seahawks use of it.

Mt Hood is in Oregon. But everybody in the NW would know about Timberline Lodge, It is the largest “log cabin” in the world. Or at least it was at the time it was built.

Whooops thanks for the correction, didn’t notice I put that xD. Also there is a bridge in Timberline called Cascade Bridge, which could refer to the cascade mountains as well.

Maybe Frostgorge Sound? There is a gorge that separates Oregon and Washington and the Puget sound is there.

Was a bar called Timberline in Seattle years ago, doubt if it’s still around, .

Filmed a bar scene in there , original twin peaks pilot, was an extra .

Was near Michael’s Deli I recall. Not been in that part of town in decades.
