Second account
You can have as many different accounts as you want.

I bought a second account during the last sale and have used it pretty much just for collecting daily login bonus, personal story / keyfarm, etc. with no problems. I can’t see why Anet would NOT want to you buy and use another account… players are players from their perspective, after all.
Well I’m not official, but having multiple accounts is pretty common. As long as you aren’t using software to control both accounts with a single key stroke (for purpose of farming and such), you are not breaking any rules by having multiple accounts.
I have had two accounts since the last sale. It isn’t against any rules or TOS to have a second account; many people do for one reason or another. If you’re doing it for login rewards keep in mind you are limited on mailing items or putting them into your guild bank until level 15 or 20 (can’t remember exactly). I bought T6 materials with my new account’s laurels and had to level up to mail them over.
Yah. You’ll need to play the account or use the level up tomes to have the option to mail gold and items. You can transfer items through the guild bank after a few days but gold is heavily restricted.
ANet may give it to you.

Nope. My new account could access the guild bank but got the same message when I tried to deposit items as when I tried to send mail: I had reached my maximum allowance of transferring items and that I should play more for the privelage to send more. Something about account protection, can’t remember the exact words.

I think i read somewhere that the amount of gold you can send is equivalent to the amount of gold you earned through direct gold rewards. So the more gold rewards from events, bags, level up etc. you accumulate, the more you can send.

Well, it’s been about a month for me, I guess I’ve forgotten. That part passes quicker than the gold sending part. It took much longer to be able to put more than a few silver at a time in the guild bank or by email.
ANet may give it to you.
The account I bought during the last sale has been limited to mailing or depositing 1g at a time. It is time-gated too, so I expect the restriction to ease now that it’s over a month old.
Hmm, I don’t think I’ve had any trouble mailing 5 items at a time. Materials, mostly, such as the things gathered in home node. I’ve also cleaned out that account’s material storage and dumped it into the guild bank to transfer without difficulty.
Maybe it is only the higher tier mats?
Hmmm, so from those in the know, if I buy a 2nd account for daily logins, with my main goal of getting laurels, turning into T6 and sending to my other account for making a legendary, how long would I have to wait to send the T6 mats in the mail? Or is that not affected?
It is 30 days, after which there seems to be no real restriction. Just type /age to see how old your account is.

The game doesn’t know the value of what you are sending. It’s a very tight restriction on mailing at first that lifts by degrees depending on how much you play until it’s lifted completely.

The mail restriction isn’t days-based; it’s more play-based. I was able to send/receive mails with gold by the time my first character on my second account was around level 30 (so after a few hours of playing and finishing a few maps for map completion).
