I just wanted to make this thread in appreciation for one of the best (in my opinion) written characters in the game. Don’t want to spoil anything but I will say this: If you want humour, go with the Priory.

Have you played the Whispers storyline yet? Tybalt is also quite awesome.

Oh, and in another part of the priory, you’ll be an ultimate kitten.

This quest bugged out on me twice, forcing me to restart it twice after finishing it.

I was not in the least bit upset.

Forgal was pretty annoying to be honest. I have heard great things about Tybalt though.

I miss Sieran. She’s the awesomest character in the game.=D

Just who the hell do you think I am!?

What happened to Sieran made me cry.

The first time any game has done so since the endings of the SNES RPG’s Terranigma and Lufia II.

I did experience a bit of Tybalt’s fun when I helped a few guildmates with their quests. I definitely look forward to him soon on my Ranger.

Agreed that all the mentor figures are awesome! I played Priory first but after accompanying people through the other ones, I do think they’re well-written characters (it’s hard not to love Tybalt).

Sieran was made more awesome by her interactions with Gixx – without that she’d be amusingly crazy-happy, but with Gixx as the straight man she’s hilarious.

She’s funniest if you’re playing a female non-sylvari. I’ve guested her story quests with others. Sylvari + sylvari, the accent quits being so hilariously out of place.

I wonder who her voice-actor was.

She’s sassy.

I love watching her be a smart-alec with the higher ups…XP

I played OoW first, and I loved Tybalt, but Sieran made me mad.

More than once, she basically says “The road ahead is treacherous, so I’m going to teleport there and not bring you along. Have fun catching up!”

Her personality and very Sylvari worldview were fun and refreshing, but this was extremely aggravating to me.

This being said, I’ll deal with a hundred Sierans leaving me behind instead of one Trahearne bravely charging ahead and dying repeatedly without doing any appreciable damage any day.

And at least she didn’t hog my glory for herself.

I found her incredibly annoying, especially that voice.
