When I first heard the selfless potion is available again I was quite upset. That potion is the only thing I have that was increasingly rare due to its unavailability. I’ve even been offered chunks of gold to sell it until I mention it’s account bound. Not that I ever would sell it

I was upset until I remembered GW1 and the first dragon helm, it looked amazing for the time and I just missed out on getting one. I would’ve really liked another chance to get one but that was never offered.

Why should I want to deny others the same opportunity I wanted earlier? I’ve had my fun wearing the halo and I will continue to wear it. Some of my guildies are now farming like mad to get the 450 blooms for their potion before the time runs out and I’ll help them too.

So, a little kittened off at first but upon reflection it’s probably a bad thing to make items unavailable forever. I just hope these items are only available for a short time window like before.

“Selfless Potion”, the irony is deep with this one.

I missed the first opportunity to get the potion because of my broken PC and I was really disappointed.

And what do I get now as a second opportunity? A broken event that doesn’t even work properly, sucks my soul out and forces me to be a thoughtless leech in order to get my selfless potion.

Selfless potion. MINE! I don’t want later arrivals to have it. (Oh, ok. You can have it. But I’m not real happy about it. I just hope it’s not very available so everyone gets it).

It should be hard to get. It was a lot of work (timegated, it took several days) + 10g when it was first introduced, so why do people expect it to be easier this time.

I agree they did good job on the bloom-price tag. Now it is possible but requires just enough work. It did require work on the first even too and many didn’t bother to get it back then either.

I was really upset when I saw they giving out old prizes again. I have calmed down but I’ll reach again for my anger to post these questions:

- Can’t they leave veteran players anything to differ them from new players?
- Have I bought game for nothing? I’m basically same as free to play player.
- Can’t they come up with different kind of rewards? So lazy! Or make replicas of stuff like other games – slightly make selfless potion different color or something and we could tell from which event it was from.
- I have saved one old item for 2 years.. waiting for the price jump high so I could sell it. It’s now really priced and I will RIOT if they release it. (not even naming the item to give Anet any ideas)
- It doenst even make any sense to give out S1 rewards. Where does all these toxic and scarlet gears come from? Grave robbers?
- It clears any reason to even play the game. If they can release anything back again later – why bother to get items now – or next time – or ever.

1. They have birthday and achievement rewards for this purpose. I feel they are way more suited than an item from an event where the only real achievement was being in the right place at the right time. I would like a wider range of birthday or anniversary gifts though.

2. You buy the game to get full access to play all content lol.. im not sure why you bought it otherwise.

3. Agree with this, would rather these specific rewards would have been held back for the rework of s1 living story.

4. This is really all on you. Its a risk you take when you play the TP. If you will be that upset if the price drops id recommend you sell now. Nowhere were you guaranteed that that specific reward would never return.

While I agree rewards are an incredibly important part of a game, if thats the ONLY reason you play, and only for scarce rewards then im not sure why you have chosen this game as its the opposite of what you seem to want. Gw2 has always been about enjoying experiencing the actual content more than the reward given.

I do enjoy the game a lot. I have full access for game. Yes we have AC point and birthday rewards. I have calmed down.
Agree AC rewards/Birthday gifts should be better, players should have more ways to shine with more AC points.

I just wanted to reach to my first expressions when I heard old rewards are back again. I love GW2 but sometimes they’re just making it hard lol.
