As of now ascended crafting material is account bound. Has there been any word from devs whether or not we will ever be able to sell these materials?

Craft something that uses ascended materials and then sell it.
You’ll never be able to directly sell the ascended material as that would make it completely useless (yes, even more than it is now).

If you mean dragonite, empyrial shards and bloodstone, those will never be sellable directly.
