Have all the Guild Wars veterans left the game and moved on?
Yesterday, when I tried selling Althea’s Ashes in Lion’s Arch (Piken Square) people responded with “block”, “report” or “you can’t sell account bound items”. I didn’t expect everyone to get the reference and thought that at least one person would do. It personally makes me smile remembering all the memories and all the good time I had in GW1. It’s just hard for me to forget it and move on. Anyone else feels the same? Why does simply thinking about GW1 makes me feel so much nostalgic? Is there something wrong with me?

Yep, I remember Althea’s Ashes with great fondness…and what was that note that you needed from the pirates in Hiju Lagoon in Factions…from the kid you were sent to find? That’s another one of those.

I remember seeing people sell that, and I was thinking by myself “kitten that, I’m gonna do that kitten myself. I’m too cheap to pay that much for a quest.”

I remember as well, and no nothing is wrong with you. There are plenty of things in the game that make me nostalgic. I still have a hard time playing in the Charr zones without tearing up…

I constantly /kneel my characters near old memorials and graves to our past heroes.
As for the ashes, I just loved doing the mission and giving them to lowbies who constantly died attempting it back in the day.

I remember that quest! It was a tough one and it was one of the few secondary quests that people actually grouped up to get done. Good times

OMG, Jatoro’s letter? It was like for 2 or 3p back in the days.

I remember how much I hated that quest, and I did actually pay for those ashes, lol. I actually log back in now and then when I get nostalgic.

Nostalgic? Shoot I get nostalgic just hearing the music and remembering what areas it played in and what I would be doing there.

I even get nostalgic now hearing the music from Presearing and I hated Presearing.

I dove under water in the Ascalon City ruins and thought to myself…“this is where Gwen roasted everyone using Spontaneous Combustion spell.”
