Will this ever happen? this will be the 2nd time I’ll be getting shafted in PVE just because Anet is trying to balance crap for PVP/WVW. Is it really that hard? You would think an “innovative” MMO would have this by now, from what I hear from GW1 players the skills in that game for pvp and pve were separate.

I used to play Dungeon Fighter Online a Side scrolling beat em up game and they had different stats depending whether you were in a dungeon,PVP, and warzone ( never got released anyways but yeah it was there).

TBH most of the changes are good, but these changes seem to be made BECAUSE of PVP/WVW while PVE builds get no love. I’m talking about thieves in general, anet doesnt want them to evade over and over? wtf? might as well play a warrior and tankface everything then.

EDIT: by separate skills I mean the same skills just reworked in description and changed to balanced pvp gameplay, not another whole different set of skills.

When A-Net first released Guild Wars the skills were all the same. It wasn’t until the release of Nightfall that they started to have SOME skills with different values in PvP and PvE. You also need to remember that A-Net considers WvWvW to be PvE so any “balancing” they would do for WvWvW would affect PvE also. And right now it seems like that’s their main focus in balance.
