Well, way to go A-net! [/sarcasm]

Everyone is complaining about 2 guys being able to kick whole party (abuse of pugs from two same-guild jerks), and basically only solution to the problem (be instance owner) gets murdered while the main problem remains intact.

You fixed the gun from getting jammed, but still left it in hands of a psycho. That’s gonna be fun…

This is going to become a problem.

Please make kicks require 3 votes instead of 2 to counteract this.

I will just relink what i already posted in another thread.

First people wanted owner of the party instance to be removed.Anet listened to that and made the needed changed.Now people don’t like the change and feel that the group will get abused.Oxxx come on decide what you want finaly.Anet can’t do everything.

In my opinion removing the party owner is great thing.Finally the whole group won’t be booted out if the instance owner leaves.Also if they increase the party kicks from 2 to 3 that will be great,because it will fix the greafing/selling problem that people are so afraid of.You just need to have with you 2 more people that you know.So the random pugs that are invite to not be able to kick you.Now i’m not certain will Anet increase the party kicks from two to three.That has to be seen.

They fixed the biggest problem that we had.When party leader leaves at the last boss and that kicked the whole party that is great.That was a problem that the player base couldn’t go arround and fix it by them selves as it was a game mechanic.Every MMO out there has griefers.GW2 is not an exception of the rule.Anet just have to decreas the griefing by increasing the needed votes for kick by one.That will solve everything.If you want to sell make a pre-made with two others.If you want to not get kicked at all always have a pre-made of 3.Anet must make this or the griefing will be out of controll.

The ease of kicking players is still a problem, but to be honest “dungeon owner” was an inane concept at best and had to go. Not everyone can enter LFG and start their own parties. All things being equal, I see no reason why one person in any party should ever be totally immune from a vote to kick.

In your worst-case scenario, two or more trolls from the same guild have to plan ahead of time to find a party that has enough slots open, and agree to kick you out of sheer malice, or because there happen to be guild members online who want in and also agree to be jerks. While that can happen, I don’t think it actually works out to be all that common.

However, with “dungeon owner,” all it takes is one player to ruin it for the whole group, spouting rude comments or going AFK. There is nothing they can do against this toxic individual. There is no justification for handing a single individual that amount of power.

FIne, but they should update the vote mechanic as well. And i was such an individual that saw the run through. Because they could not kick me i kept my run opened to newbies and made sure it finished, rather then having a mass ragequit cause it wasn’t done in 15 mins flat.

Such a commander it also good for guys going “stack it”. They tried that 2 times vs howling king. After i suggested beating it the normal way things got done. I can only guess being leader made them listen rather then kick me seeing how adamant they were on stacking…
