afaik the bar doesn’t move based on download size, it moves based on files downloaded. So i started with 6 files and 6 files are remaining, so it’s finished 0% of the files

Try the following paramentes:
First, gw2.exe -diag
Then, gw2.exe -repair
If that doesn’t work, rename the gw2.dat to something else, then restart the game and let it download everything. If that worked, you can delete the old renamed gw2.dat and keep the newly made one.
