Hi guys, my friend just came back to the game today and he wanted to be on my server ( Fort Aspenwood ) but its full. is this based on how much player is active on there currently or its based on player in total and some need to transfer to get away to open free slot? or its based on wave by anet that will open them over time on a specefic time ? please if you know something let me know :/

It’s based on WvW population. Even if you are on different servers, you can do anything together that you would like to, aside from WvW.

we want to do WvW that why i asked him to join mine he was on a very low pop server. i was on the same server ( anvil rock ) befor and i switched to FA and very happy so he just came back to the game and he cant join FA because of the lockout. and yes we want to do WvW there. that the main reason

It will likely be quite some time before WvW populations that are Full drop down to Very High.

Either you and your friend will need to play WvW separately, or you will need to transfer.
