Q:
Hello,
I’ve found this post:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Server-Populations/first#post703192
regarding server population filter.
Now I’m unsure and just out of curiousity wanted to know the following.
When a server has status “Full”, and let’s say Adam is playing on server, let’s call it, Server1 and he has 5 characters on his account at that moment.
Does that server population indicator count all of Adams characters or just Adams account no matter how many characters he has on his account at that given moment? Is that indicator counting players which are offline but have this Server1 selected as their Home World?

Pretty sure it counts his account, since Adam can’t play more than 1 character at a time. I don’t know for sure but that’s my best guess.
since the dev post says..it counts the players that are actually playing live at that moment..I fail to see how this could be more succinct. Since you can not play multiple toons from the same account at the same time.

I tought that exact thing as well, after reading the post… But then I read this discussion on 3rd party website forum where people brought this confusion and thus I opened up this topic. Again, I guess.
