Guild Wars 2

So, i’m new and just finished updating and downloading and i’m in the middle of choosing a server. I was wondering what are some good servers to join in America. I tried to do some research but all I found was old posts.

Server doesn’t matter much now for PvE due to the megaserver. If you are into WvW you will probably want to look for a good ranking WvW server.

Is WvW worth getting into?

I don’t care for it but a lot of people do like it. It really is personal preference. If you think you may want to best to find a good WvW server just in case. The top ones are usually full but I think they just opened up more spaces.

Depends on what you enjoy. Some people love it, and others don’t bother with it.

If you want to be on the safe side, you can pick a strong WvW server, but other than that it really doesn’t matter nowadays, thanks to changes they’ve made to the server system which mix people from different servers together to populate maps, instead of just having different copies of maps based on servers.
