How do you feel about only being able to change every 24 hours? I feel like the transfers should have to be purchased now, its already been a month.

I think the free server transfer thing is cool. People are still buying the game and it’ll give the new folks time to make sure they end up on the right servers with their friends. I would like to see it go to paid or diamonds sometime after tax season. People are going to be buying the game for the holidays and probably use their returns to grab it as well. That’s when I do the majority of my game shopping.

i heard some people were abusing pve by switching servers and collecting high end mats so yeah had to be done, and those who have been doing it should have the stuff collected wiped. Also i think it’s kinda weak to run to the winning server if your worlds going bad in WvW, but i do understand why.

If anything it should be longer and a cost imposed.

They were, i had over 2 stacks of Ori, now i only have 2, the price has shot down.

I don’t think they should ever have a cost imposed. Anet originally said they didn’t see a reason to charge for them, so it was disappointing to hear free transfers were only temporary at release. Though if they are purchasable with gems it won’t be so bad as you can indirectly use in game currency.

However, they should have a very lengthy reuse timer. Not 1 day. More like 6 months.

Have no problem with the limit. But server transfer could be free forever! -coff-

“It’s not an exploit as stated, but given some of the changes that the designers made, changing servers to get to resource node is actually going to be way less efficient and much more time-consuming than just running to the next one or going to a new map to gather resources there. Any efficiencies you may find are random chance.”

Well they will implement guesting and that is when they will probably make it so the transfers cost money and will take a week between each transfer.
