Greetings,

I’m curious to know if there will be a server capacity increase anytime soon. Since my Gw2 gaming lately has been constant re-logging to see if there have been any spots opened up on Blackgate, so I can join my friends in WvW.

Any suggestions on what times are more guaranteed that spots will open up would be appreciated.

I’m not sure where this type of topic should go so I’ll just leave it here for a moderator to moderate. :P

My friend is having this same problem!!! He left for a day and now he can’t get back to blackgate!!! WvW is like our most favorite thing to do so I would love to know this answer to!!!

Sometimes, they raise the Server Caps before the WvW Tournaments. No idea when the next one will be.

Otherwise, you just have to wait for players to either be banned or move their accounts to another server. That could happen at any time of day or night. Server population is based on accounts associated with said server, according to the latest Dev response. With the MegaServer implementation, I don’t think time-sensitive population has that much to do with it, anymore. /shrug
