Well this is simple add more sexy outfits / armor for human female models. im tired of mine running in t3 cultural armor. o and it need to be sexxyyyyy.

I think females has enough sexy outfits. From the current armor sets I’ve seen in the game so far most of them looks better on Female characters.

Males version mostly appear strange for most of the armor set/outfits either being too fat or too overly shaped. Not easy making a custome look with most armor set pieces not fitting most armor sets pieces size.

its easy just look how tera does female armors , they just need to copy that as for male armors i dont care why would i want to look at a male kitten while i play.

Practical armor can still be sexy. Secondly why does everything have to be sexy?

Yes, I’m going to agree with previous posts ; There are a lot of sexy, if not easy on the curves-armors already. I did have a bit of a problem “clothing” my human ele ; sometimes it’s a few hole here and there, sometimes she holds her boobs in place with air magic. :p

I’m all for diversity, but I believe you have plenty of ways to make your char sexy with what’s already in place. What is she ? Have you raided your wardrobe storage to try and find stuff you might like ?

Totally with you on this one! There are far too few sexy armours, it’s heartbreaking.

No idea what you’re talking about with heavy armor. There’s not NEARLY enough good looking heavy sets that aren’t just big bulky hulk armor. There’s exactly ONE pair of shoes for heavy gear that has high heels, and that’s the Phalanx set. I DEMAND MORE UNCOMFORTABLE FOOTWEAR!

- Grasping Dead
- Gladiator
- Barbaric
- Pit Fighter

which are borderline to be even considered armor. Flamewrath from the gemstore is light on the armor part too.

I see no problem with this.
Then again I’m fairly sex-positive, so I don’t have issues with things being sexy, and there’s never a too sexy XD

Some people don’t need to remodel their ingame character to resemble a h***er to enjoy the game. I actually enjoy the fact that most outfits fit their designed theme (aka heavy being HEAVY).

Some people don’t need to remodel their ingame character to resemble a h***er to enjoy the game. I actually enjoy the fact that most outfits fit their designed theme (aka heavy being HEAVY).

and some people do like to model their characters as sexy as possible, this is why most people play female characters and why the t3 cultural armor for light and medium are so popular.

I agree with some of these posts in that I feel the female chars have plenty of options to dress pleasingly. I see how some players dress their chars now and cringe, why would you want your char to look like she is on her way to work the city streets at night? When did looking ’sexy’ become ’running around half naked’?

I don’t wish to appear prudish and will probably receive some negative comments for this post but I really feel ANet is correct in its refusal to pander to the teenage boys wet dream. IMO it’s one more thing on the list which sets GW2 above the rest.

I love how cheeky you are, i already played tera, aion to old graphics , as for blade and soul that is not out yet for europe that is only korean version is out now but believe me i will play that game.

Gotta love the moral hierarchy of some people. The game promotes us to hack, slash, bludgeon, and kill mobs and each other. That appears to be totally acceptable behavior, right? Though ask for a little sex appeal and some players toss out the anchor because that’s just totally unacceptable??? I shake my head at this…..

For armor’s, we absolutely should be getting more. More practical and more elegant, and yes more sexy. Enough with the flames, skulls, bones, and overly ornate stuff. Since it’s summer, how about swimwear finally??? We’ve only been asking since Southsun was introduced.

I’ll go a bit further and say that to me, when Heavy Armors features boobplates, corsets (Draconic Armor and its slimming effect) and various unstrategic holes (ie : ribs, back, boobs), I don’t consider them “average-looking” and will place them under the sexy category.

Now, based on the various opinions here, I gotta say we don’t have the same definition of the word “sexy”.

Exemple : I don’t consider the “Sneak Thief” outfit sexy for a female, but trashy (which isn’t a bad thing in itself). I also have a problem with how it fits a guy thief ala Assassin’s Creed style while we have a “courant d’air” kind of outfit for the other gender (you can’t be a trashy guy ?). But I complain about this just like I complain about the lack of variations in medium armor (trenchcoats, trenchcoats everywhere) ; it’s all about choices. And we gotta recognize we lack choice when trying to convey another feel than “half naked” to the light armor department.

When I go back to GW1 and I see my mesmer armors, nostalgia hits me hard. Moar fanciness, Anet please !

EDIT : the best thing to me, would be how Light Human Nightmare is the same for both genders ; copy-paste this template to every trashy, bulky or curvy outfits you want and I’ll be one happy bee.

I would like some proper Necromancer armor that looks decent on Charr. As long as I can get that, you may get baby doll version for females, heck, you can get aura armor with completly nude character.

But…don’t we have specific sites for pornography already? I mean, it’s easier…

1) It is very naive to think that “teenage boys” are the only source for demand on things ‘sexy’. Somewhat ridiculous really.
2) Eir Stegalkin / medium Norn cultural armour. Super tasteful, super sexy. more of this style desperately needed!
3) Male, skimpy ‘barbarian’ styles are sorely lacking. It would be great to see various combinations of muscle mass peeking through some spaces between the armour.

Impractical armor for the sake of sex-appeal has been a common trope of the fantasy genre for decades.

Haters need to stop getting their underwear in a bunch over how other people choose to play their game.

The game needs more sets the like Caudecus Manor heavy armor set.

Eh, I think there are plenty of sexy armor options for humanoid female body types. I wouldn’t care if they added more, but I wouldn’t care if they didn’t, either.

The misogyny in this thread is pretty sad. Equating the female body with being a prostitute is way off.

I always think of the people that need sexy pixels as those that have trouble in the same area of life. I HATE sexy armor due to realism. But I also make male characters exclusively. I guess I just don’t need the eye candy while I play.

All armor types need more pants. There are too few simple pants. Everything is a kilt or skirt or dress.
Please more pants.

Some armors are clearly designed for male characters. For example, large shoulders.

However, there is a clear trend to make women’s armors less practical and more showy. This is obvious in how they look compared to counterparts. I am not just talking the obvious shape differences, I am talking skimpy armor for the shiverpeaks vs something that looks practical.

1) I used the ‘teenage boy’ metaphor as a way to undermine the request for let’s say extremely skimpy outfits, the point of that statement was to make it appear ridiculous. Apologies if that was too subtle for some people. Obviously there will be people from every group playing this game who would prefer their char to wear the barest minimum in order to pass censorship criteria.
2) Agreed, her outfit looks very nice.
3) More armour styles are needed across the whole range, it is my hope that ANet don’t follow the same route as other game producers.

There seems to be a difference of opinion as to what sexy means as it means something different to everyone. I have no objection to sexy armours or costumes. I just don’t want to end up playing a Blade & Soul type game.
