This JUST happened like 30 minutes ago, I’m still laughing. I’m putting it on my Facebook too.

When “Leap of Faith” becomes: “Leap of the Asuran Moron.” during the Victory or Death mission.

Trust me, I thought: “WOW!” at how fall she fell, lmao. Well, that and my Sunrise Streamer all the way down, lmao

I don’t have an image of mine unfortunately but it was not too long after launch of the game.

Standing on a hill with some Vigil soldiers and about 10 other brave souls.

Then The Shatterer arrived.

That first time was top 3 gaming moments ever.

I’m sure many will post this, but…

This Charr’s Meat Stick, yes, that’s what it is, a giant meat stick that he waves around in the public.

I’ve had a lot of “wow” moments in this game but I have to say the first truly epic moment for me was in the second battle of Claw Island, a month or two after launch. I had no warning of what to expect, no spoilers at all. And suddenly I was charging a freaking dragon in the midst of an army of NPCs while victorious music soared. It’s the soundtrack piece called “Raven Speaks,” or something like that.

Again, there have been many many moments. Many breathtaking moments. Yet I’ll highlight just one more — getting sucked into Omadd’s Machine without any idea what was coming. I was blown away.

That looks like the broken road by Caledon Haven in nw Caledon.

Not a fancy battle shot, but I love how the background colours here complement my character.

Hmm, if we’re moving to just cool shots as opposed to documenting the moments in the game that made us go “whooooa …. awesome,” then I’ve another that is a blend. I’ve posted this one before. I think it’s the single best screenshot I’ve taken, compositionally speaking. And it shows the “wow” of fighting in the ruins of LA. Even after they announced the crap was about to hit the fan in LA, players didn’t believe they’d really destroy the hub city of the game. Then we got the cinematic, and then we ran in through the gates into choking miasma and Scarlet minions everywhere, we saved civilians and fought watchknights that required map-wide coordination and made it up onto the Breachmaker to a huge group combat set to epic music, which led to an instanced fight against Scarlet herself. So much RP spun off of all that, the echoes remain in plotlines to this day.

First picture is my personal AWE.. it is from the end of Arah path 4. I got my Dungeon Master -title and just explored place a bit after everyone else left.

Second picture is bit like Donari.5237’s story. Before the Tower of Nightmares patch anet did these sneaky changes to world without telling players anything. So I heard rumors that Kessex Hills has some changes around the lake. The picture shows what I saw when I waypointed there. All trees were cut down and most of the ruins removed. It was all dragged into lake for what would become Tower of Nightmares. This was touching for me since the area around lake was furthest I was willing to go in beta… and they changed it.

I think the bottom one is timberland, next to the dwarf ruins, cant remember the name. It was an outpost in GW1.

• First two are from miasma event. LA was burning one year and 3 months ago.

This needs to be a greatsword skin.

This screenie came out pretty good. Just happened to catch the right moment when i was blinding the Seraph with my glory. There’s a bit of the transition between Sunrise and Twilight in the trail.

I love this one! the feeling it gave me was one of desolation and facing a daunting journey ahead alone in the vast landscape

I really need to get some more terrain screenshots.
