Hi, I’ve just logged in to see that the Shared Inventory slots are reduced which is great as I could use a few more but the original price of 3 is listed as 2100 and I could have sworn that they were originally just over 1800 gems and I didn’t think 5 slots were nearly as high as 3500. I think the pricing of these slots is expensive anyway but is this current pricing really accurate?

5 slots were 2800 gems before sale (-25% = 2800 – 700 = 2100), so yeah – don’t know what that’s about!!!!

So what’s with the wacky pricing ANet because the prices just don’t add up. Are you raising the prices after the sale as the pre discount prices displayed are not what the pre sale prices were?

Hmm i was so fixated on sale price that i didn’t notice. I checked now and yea full price is now 2100 but before sale it was 1890. And 2800 for 5 slots. But anyway all that matters that sale price is the correct one xD

5*700=3500, the default price for 5 slots is 2800 and notes the discount.

then again, dye pack doesn’t list the default discount either, only 25 for 4000
why anyone would spend that many gems on a dye pack is beyond me. But I guess that’s what spawns the youtube channels and funnels their income back to Anet ;-)

So before you got 5 slots for 2800 gems, right? And the sale states 25% off. But it shows 25% reduction of 3500 gems? So 5 slots cost 2625 gems now?

Looks odd indeed, but at the end of the day, you decide if the price is right for you. Then the reduction is not 25% but only 6.25%

If 5 for 2100 is the 25% off price, the original price calculated back from that would be 5 for 2800. Sounds right.

The bundle of 3 is a bit weird though. 3 for 1417 being the 25% off price, the normal price would be 1889.333…

edit: normal price for 3 is 1890, not 1800, so that discount sounds right too.

I think the gem store is just showing the full non-discounted price for each tier during the sale. The normal prices of 1890 for 3 and 2800 for 5 are 10% and 20% off the normal price of 700 for 1.
