How does one get 5,000 kills on shield?

As I’m running around on my engineer, I use the shield to kill ambients, between locations.

The exact same way you get 1,000,000 dolyak kills.

Perserverence.

I am 10% on the way there.

The easiest way is to either use the Guardian shield 4, or the Engineer shield 4 & 5.

Then go to the Shadow Behemoth swamp and start killing the hordes of white critters with the shield skills. Yes, the frogs and ravens that have 1 health counts as a kill.

Chronomancer !!

If you have a guardian I recommend you equip scepter/focus and shield and kill ambients. That way, since you have to wait for the skill cooldowns, you can alternate between getting focus kills and shield kills.
