Q:

I’ve got a few of these Shining Blade Bounty Notices, but when you click on them to view where the bounty is, the map doesn’t zoom OUT, it stays zoomed all the way in and then moves very quickly to the bounty area.

The problem is when the bounty is far away, I can’t see or figure out where it is moving to. Is this a bug or is there a way to get the map to zoom out properly?

If this is a bug it does need to be fixed, because the maps are useless if we can’t figure out where they are zooming to.

I agree, it is a hassle. I have noticed, as a workaround, that you can click on a waypoint while it is showing you the map, that will get you in the general area. Then just open the map again and it should be easier to find the spot.

That’s true, but it doesn’t help when you’re first learning it to whisk you over there, briefly show it then go back to where you were. If you don’t recognize the map you’ll need to do it several times to get a good idea of where it is.

Maybe an ability to mark the map while its paused in that site?
