Presumably because it’s level 0 with an upgrade slot, so it can be used when farming black lion keys by rushing through the first 10 levels of personal story. Small stat bonuses on gear matter a lot at low levels.

Can’t see any good return on investment for this being used during a key run. At most it would gain about a minute reduction in a 20 minute run (which is fairly standard for me without any bonus equipment at all). I do at max 2 runs in a day every couple of weeks but even if I was doing it non stop I could not justify to myself paying this much for frankly no significant speed increase.

Some people as myself can’t stand not having every best things possible. It’s not something I am proud of, but I just can’t help myself, if something is better, even just sightly I have to get it.
