What are people using as shoes, specifically for human females?

My friends and I just went through all of the options out there and there are so few shoes out there for female humans that don’t either make the character look like she has disproportionately bulky legs (which wouldn’t be as much of a problem to me if the rest of the character were equally bulky). Some shoes look great at the lower portion, but they require a long dress to cover the bulky top portion of the shoe. I like my character to wear pants, though, so that limits my shoe choices.

Anyways, yea. What do other people run as their shoes? Seems like the consensus for human females would be winged boots and embroidered sandals. I don’t even like those two, I just dislike them less…

(and on another note, when are we getting an outfit that for females that is conservative without feeling like I’m wearing a potato? Some outfits and wardrobe pieces have volume but are revealing. Others are skin tight and revealing. Others are nicely conservative, but they’re so boring…)

The aurora and heritage shoes are also okay.

I like the glorious boots from the PvP set. The inquest ones are allright too.

I like the Ascalonian Performer over-the-knee boots for my mesmer, elementalist and necromancer, though I suppose they might be one of the pairs of shoes criticized as making the wearer look like they have overly thick legs. Winged boots do look quite nice, with a bit of a Victorian lace-up boot style to them, so I may try them sometime.

Excellent point right there. There’s only really two choices atm, skimpy as all hell and conservative bleh. Come on Anet, you can do better than that.
