I’m not sure how other people feel about the short bow, I am a big fan of the weapon (mainly bc of The Dreamer). I would love to see this weapon expanded to more classes with future specializations, its main uses are for thieves or for rangers in PvP currently there are pretty much no uses for the short bow in the PvE environment apart from theif secondary weapon set. I was hoping warrior would get the short bow with HoT but torch seems fitting for the jungle. Does anyone else have thoughts on this, or what they would like to see for the future of the short bow and specializations for other classes?

There’s a lot of weapon type seeing little use right now.

Riffle, Mace are far worst offender than shortbow.
We’ll have to wait for the second generation of elite spec to see them being added, just be patient !

I entirely agree. Longbow, Shortbow, and Rifle are all especially in need of more professions.

Mace is’nt in a terrible place atm with the revenant getting mace it will see more use, and warriors use mace quite frequently as an offhand weapon. Same goes for Longbow, with the addition of the Dragon Hunter LB will be seeing much more gameplay. Rifle I can agree could use more love as well, but I still favor the short bow since it is only usable on medium armor atm where Rifle is used on Heavy (warrior) and Medium (engi).

I was hoping rev would get rifle as an alternate ranged option.
