Should HP increase Revive Speed?
We’re almost at a trinity anyway, so it doesn’t really matter anymore, I guess. Back in the day I’d say that healing power influencing the reviving speed would create a trinity. “I thought bobby was going to rez you – he’s got more healing power”.
And well in wvw my thief rezzes faster thanks to the nifty traits. Thank god most people don’t know too much about thieves so I’m not put into a role.
Well, there’s a mastery and traits that do that atm. That probably means it won’t be a change to HP any time soon. HP is kind of a weird stat, tbh.
Probably not. It should be possible to heal a downed person though…

It’s largely under-tuned IMO. It really should have more of an impact than it does, even if it meant nerfing baseline healing (this is the treatment they gave condi damage a while back). I actually thought they were planning to fix this, but so far I haven’t seen anything about it.
I used to like running with Celestial stats and I stopped pretty much entirely because the allocation to Healing Power felt like a complete waste that dragged down its value relative to other combinations.
An interesting idea, although in team fights it would likely put downed state into that much more of a forgiveness phase which a ton of people already dont like. I think if it was implemented in the right way though then it might work.
So what if it pushes gw2 towards the trinity system. The main thing is that there are no direct healers. At least in this way we see a stat (underappreciated and thus underutilized) see some more use, which may improve diversity.

I honestly think a soft trinity is good for the game. The only problem arises when you try to structure it too heavily into everything.
