Guild Wars 2

Hi all.
I have quitted this game like a year before because that 1) end-game stats (not gear) was too easy to get and you know- i cant remember the exact names- “twilight” and “dawn” was the name of the legendaries? they were purely cosmetic.
Also 2) a lot of end game dungeons didnt need a tank or other classes at all- a balanced group was worse than 4 warriors because the warrior class had so much dps they dps ed the bosses so hard they didnt need a guardian or mesmer or etc..

Can you guys answer these two small questions for me please ? This summer i am really stuck if I should get Elder Scrolls Online or go forward with GW2.

I wouldent recommend you to come back since they havent changed

Based on what you wrote no, you shouldn’t. End-game gear is still easy to get, legendaries do not offer any advantages over ascended gear (end-game gear).

Warriors are average at best DPS-wise, they’re currently the banner kittenes for the party and might stackers. Meta composition for a dungeon run is phalanx warrior (might stacker and banner kitten), 2x staff ele, 1x thief, 1x guardian. That isn’t to say this is the only viable group, this is a meta group composition.

Well there will be a BIG meta change soon with a huge overhaul to Conditions and all specs are going through a large update – it will be worth coming back to see them alone and how they alter play.

End game PvE is still pretty much the same but hopefully the expansion will add some exciting stuff.

I’d suggest popping on and seeing the next update and how it affects your class, you can always log off again if you don’t feel its enough to keep your attention til the exp.

Keep in mind the two things you’re actually complaining about are two of the cornerstones of the game. That is, the game was sold to NOT have the two things you’re asking for, and some of us prefer the game not to have them.

It’s unlikely to change, because many of us consider those things you’re asking for bad.
