Tell me what you guys think about the following:

1. Should legendaries be account-bound only, i.e. they cannot be sold on TP?
2. Should legendaries be account-bound on use, and not soul-bound on use?

Discuss.

Been there, done that. What’s next?

I personally don’t care that legendaries are aren’t bind on acquire, with the current asking price of what, 9800g? It’s just not likely many are going to go that route.

It’d be nice if they were account bound once equipped, especially given that only 2 can be made per character (currently).

I am baffled however that ascended items are bound on acquire, yet legendaries aren’t…

i never liked any kind of bound system, i always thought are my items i decide what to do with it and dont care what other person say, thats my own personal opinion.

And that ammount of gold for that item is absurd anyone with common sense will just make their own, if you have that ammount of gold you can buy everything, then you just will need to farm karma and skill points, easy stuff.

I took an arrow to the knee

I think they should take the WoW approach and make some items (exotics +) BoE and some BoA (this is bound on acquire for the WoW folks).

Dont see the harm in having Legendaries sellable on the TP . If you have so much gold you can buy a 9800 gold item then i say go for it .

Only reason people are angry about Legendaries is because they don’t have the time and/or money to amass the wealth it would require to make a profit off of one.

Legendaries are fine as is. Quit your job and play more. Stay with your job and pay more. Or get a job so you can pay more.

My opinion, since Legendaries are not that powerful and only there for the skins at the moment.

Having it be account bound would be nice. That way if your weapon gets nerfed to oblivion for one class, you could then just use it on another character.

I think precursors should be soulbound on acquire. But I also think they should be acquired differently then right now.

I think it’s unfair that someone can trip over 300+ gold.

i think they should be account bound and not sellable. making them sellable is like calling for the haxors to find a way to dupe them.

I think that an item should only get account-bound when used, untill then it shouldn’t be bound at all. What harm would it do if someone bought a legendary from the trading company? If someone want’s to buy the legendary bitfrost for 2100 gold, then how would that be a problem for someone else?

I’d agree with being account bound in both ways. Legendaries should reflect someone’s work ingame; if most of it can be bought (let alone the full product) with cash, that kinda makes it pointless imo. Wouldn’t take a hard stance on that though.

As for the other meaning: yes. If my alts could use it too, I’d find it somewhat reasonable to try and get one. As it is… it’s a crazy amount of gold to spend on only one of my characters… hell, getting them all “ascended” would already be a nightmare as it seems now…

Account bound would just add to this already great game. For the effort I put into Sunrise 3 months ago, I would enjoy using it on my mesmer now. Something that would be a quick addition/fix.

Soulbound shouldn’t and never should have existed period. It has to be one of the dumbest concepts I’ve ever heard of.

Legendary should be Bound on Acquire (account wide).

Account bound, not soul bound. You spend that much time and effort on making one you should be able to show it off on all of your characters.

I have no intention of getting a legendary, via good or grind… But that said- anyone who DOES go for one deserves to do whatever the crap they want with it and shouldn’t be limited by some game mechanic put in place for no particularly good reason. If they want to have it and look legendary- awesome. If they want to sell it and be filthy rich- also awesome.
