Maybe there are sales when the population actually goes down? What it seems to you or me might not reflect the facts.

That only works in Sub-based games, not B2P ones. Remember you pay once. Having a sale on that won’t bring anything good.

Might convert several free to play players to buy to play players…

Hope future buyers read forums/reviews and whatnot found everywhere on the internet and not make the huge mistake of feeding them even more money. Even if it’s 5$

HoT is £23 on Amazon right now, down from £35 and I’ve seen varying prices at other retailers too. It’s just a matter of shopping around.

That ship has sailed. Megaserver was the biggest merge of servers that I know of in 17 years of MMO playing.
