I’m not expecting to run around with 15 drakehounds, but once i finally summon one shouldn’t it stick around until it dies from damage? I hear the parrot stays; is this true?

Currently my drakehound will stay for maybe 1 or 2 minutes then it will just flop over and die for no reason—ie the timer just ran out.

I find this really annoying because it makes the rune really really inconsistent and I am about ready to switch to something that isn’t a “5% on hit…” —unless of course the 5% on hit golems/parrots stay until they die; then I might switch to 1 of those.

Thnx

There’s a lot of powers and skills that don’t quite make a lot of sense. Like stability for 3s. That doesn’t even sound right. Who’s going to know exactly when to use a 3s stability with a cooldown of 45s.

Yes, try a polar bear for stick around and best damage for a tank. Also be sure to put 5 points into Beastmastery or mobs won’t be interested in your pet post lvl 35 or so. Risen are another matter entirely as they are never interested in your pet. They make a beeline for you regardless. Part of the tedium of Orr.

No. That’s how it use to work, but seeing as a drakehound can solo a lvl 80 mob easily you start to see how OP it is. I was farming orr with that rune on and got upto 12 drake hounds at one point, no mob even stood a chance and was killed within afew seconds by my drakehounds (half the time i didn’t even get a chance to attack). I was even able to solo a champion using them.
