Recipes could be shown, lets say in an account/character cookbook.
There are recipes which are soulbound, so there would be 2 categories. Would make it easier to see what you have on what characters, since there is no way of seeing this at recipes, only when you get them again and realise you can’t use them.
Im not opening this thread because it happened to me, I hardly craft stuff, but this is the main reason I don’t start crafting.

In addition, make recipes account-wide rather than tied to a character. I’m not referring to the recipes you discover through crafting, but rather those you get via karma or other sources.

It’s an interesting idea in theory, but much like the account wide wardrobe change, there would be an onslaught of people saying they unlocked X laurel purchased recipe on 2 different professions or 2 toons with the same crafting profession and want a refund of the extra laurels and/or karma they used. They would be right by the way, but how does one track this?

There are wardrobe items that I know I crafted prior to the wardrobe change, yet I’m having to craft them again to unlock the skins, even though I clearly remember wearing them and they show in my crafted items (acolyte and masquerade for example). Stuff gets lost in transitions like this.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the account wide wardrobe, and I’d love an account wide recipe unlock, but I love my laurels and karma too, but the idea that I’d somehow got jacked in the transition process would be hard to swallow.
