I play engi too, same way I weapon swap on my ele. Stack bloodlust or whatever, then switch to 2hander

that solve nothing… or can even make it far worse…
weapon set 1= sigil on crit sigil with stack on kill
weapon set 2= sigil on crit sigil with flat bonus (5% dmg or 5% critchance etc…)
and this aside from the problem for ele and ing that doesn’t have weapon swap (2 class out of 8 )
as an ele I’ve 8 staff in my bank… 2 for each stat set that I use becose for each stat set I have one staff with the on kill stat sigil and one with an on crit/weaponswap effect… I run with the stacking one until I’m loaded than switch for the other… this when i CAN do it… (situation where I can go out of combat and have low chance of getting downed… that automaticaly take WvW combat out of consideration…)
on the other hand when I run with D/D or S/D I simply have the on kill in my off hand and the crit/weaponswap on my MH… and if I have the time/opportunity to manually swap weapon (read above) I can always change the OH for a static bonus one…
but let’s add more depth…
a 2h can equip at best one sigil of accuracy (5% crit chance) or force (5%dmg)… with 2 one handed weapon I can have 2 of those for a 10% crit or 10% bonus dmg… double the bonus I get from the sigil in my 2h…
The base damage two-handed weapons is slightly greater than that on one-handed weapons, but I haven’t done the math to see if that offsets having one sigil vs two (Accuracy + Force on two one-handed weapons vs just Accuracy or Force on one two-handed weapon, for example).
